There are so many ways first graders can use different google tools in the classroom. Below is a short list of what we will be learning to start with and how you can use these tools to help you with your assignments and group projects.
1. Google Drive- We will be using this tool keep track of all of our projects. It is like an online filing cabinet! To find it, click on the "waffle" next to your initial in the top right. Then, click on "drive".
2. Search Drive- This will help you find files in your drive when you are looking for one. Enter keywords in the search bar at the top of your drive. For this to work, be sure to name your files so you can find them later.
3.Google Slides- This is a way that everyone can work on their own project. Each person can have their own slide, or page. Each member can work on it at the same time. While working on projects in slides, you will learn how to:
-choose custom colors for your slides
-enter text on slides
-enter images or pictures on slides
-enter videos on slides
-organize slides
